At Pho 79, we take pride in sharing the rich flavors and traditions of Vietnamese cuisine with communities across Virginia. Our name honors our family’s journey, as we first immigrated to the United States in 1979, bringing with us a deep passion for food, culture, and hospitality.
Hubby and I stopped in here for lunch while waiting for our car to be serviced. We got the chicken, steak, pork and seafood fried rice and the beef, chicken, and pork vermicelli bowl. Both of our meals were delicious and portion sizes were ample! Our waiter was very helpful with suggestions and attentive with keeping our drinks topped off. I also liked the way the staff interacted with the kids in the restaurant, offering them lollipops as they were leaving. We'll definitely be back!
I ordered the Wonton and Egg Noodle soup. It was beyond DELICIOUS!! It had fesh ingredients and a rich tasty broth. The mini wontons were excellent and had so much flavor. The egg noodles were a nice change VS the traditional rice noodle with Pho. I've been coming here for a while, and it never disappoints. Give this cozy local favorite a try!
First restaurant we visited after moving here. Great food, service, and atmosphere. We've been back many times now in the month we've lived here. Can't say enough about how happy we are to have found a great Pho location.
Amazing Vietnamese food. The pho and bun bo hue had so much flavor and so filling. The goi cuốn was so fresh too, and washing it all down with the Thai Iced tea especially on hotter days was fulfilling. The atmosphere really made me forget that I was still in Virginia Beach. Staff and service are also kind and fast. I will absolutely be coming back.
